Get outside and walk at the beautiful Monk Botanical Gardens while enjoying children's books related to gardening, nature, and animals! Children and their parents can walk the scenic Monk Botanical Gardens trails and read eight storybooks along the way. This innovative event encourages people of all ages to get out and walk while enjoying wonderful children's books. Families can also visit the Monk Botanical Gardens on July 9 and 10 for our StoryWalk Weekend, which will include exhibitors, a hands-on art-making activity provided by the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, and more. ... Join us at Monk Botanical Gardens for StoryWalk Weekend! Families can walk along the Monk Botanical Gardens' scenic trails and read eight different storybooks, as well as participate in activities related to each book's theme at the end of each trail. Families can also view local exhibitors and participate in a hands-on art-making activity provided by the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum that will focus on "Rooster's Off to See the World" and other Eric Carle books and illustration techniques.
