• Boxes may be borrowed by adults working with groups of children, such as daycare providers, storytellers, teachers and library staff. Items in boxes are not to be used by a single child or by a group of children for their entertainment, but only by adults in a group setting with children.
• Boxes are checked out for 14 days and are not renewable. Boxes may be reserved by calling MCPL Children’s Division at (715) 261-7220 or by filling out a reserve request form. Reservations may be made as far ahead as three months beyond the current month.
• Damage and loss of materials will be charged to the patron.
• Boxes will be sent out to the branches on their van deliveries or may be picked up by the patron at the Children’s Division desk.
• Promptness in returning the boxes is ESSENTIAL and must be done through the library van or at the Children’s Division desk. A late charge of $1.00 per day per box will be assessed. Late fees of $.10 per item per day will be charged for missing items.
• Boxes must be used and stored only in non-smoking areas.
