Meeting Rooms / Study Rooms

Meeting rooms:

Meeting rooms may be used according to the library's meeting room policy. Rooms may be requested by returning a meeting room application to the library's Wausau Headquarters via fax: 715-261-7204, email: , mail or in person. All rooms have wireless Internet access, chairs and tables. Equipment requests must be made at the time of application and may include laptops, video projectors, TV / DVD sets, whiteboards or a podium. Other equipment may be obtained upon request. All requests are subject to availability.

Third floor. Max. capacity 99 people. Includes a sink, small refrigerator, coffee-maker and a projection screen. (Projector must be requested separately.)

Mosinee Meeting Room

Second floor. Max. capacity 99 people. Includes coffee-maker and sink.

Stratford Meeting Room

Max. capacity 30 adults (or 50 children). Includes refrigerator, microwave and sink.


Study rooms:

Study rooms may be used according to the library's study room procedure for nonprofit educational purposes only. They may be used on a walk-in basis (limited to two hours if others are waiting to use the room). Alternatively, contact us to make a reservation up to seven days in advance. All rooms have wireless Internet, chairs and tables.

Other meeting rooms:

Other meeting rooms are located in the same buildings as some of the MCPL branches, but their bookings are not controlled by the library. Their use may be requested by contacting the appropriate village office using the following information:


Things to remember:

  • The room application must be submitted at least seven days before the event.
  • Any publicity for your meeting must clearly state that your meeting is not sponsored by the library.
  • Copies of any promotional materials for your meeting must be delivered to the library at least seven days before the meeting.
  • Library meeting rooms are not an appropriate for venue for testing, marketing, promotions, job interviews or depositions.
  • A group may not have more than twelve upcoming meetings.
  • Be aware of the library's hours and holiday hours.
  • Selling admission, products or services is not permitted.
  • Room setup and cleanup is your responsibility. Please plan ahead.
  • If you decide to cancel your meeting, please contact us.
  • There is a two-hour limit in the main lot at MCPL Wausau. Please tell your members to use one of the nearby lots.
