Things to Remember:

The room application must be submitted at least seven days before the event.

Any publicity for your group must indicate that the library is not a sponsor of the event.

Be aware of the library's hours and holiday closings.

Selling admission, products or services is not permitted.

A group may not have more than six upcoming meetings.

Room setup and cleanup is your responsibility. Please plan ahead.

If you decide to cancel your meeting, please contact us.

There is a two-hour limit in the main lot at MCPL Wausau. Please tell your members to use one of the nearby lots.

 
 

Public Meeting Rooms / Study Rooms

Meeting Rooms

Meeting rooms may be requested by returning a meeting room application to the library's Wausau Headquarters via fax: 715-261-7204, email: , mail or in person. All rooms have wireless internet access, chairs and tables.

  • Wausau Room (3rd floor) -- Max. 99 people. Includes a sink, small refrigerator, coffee-maker and a projection screen. (Projector must be requested separately.)

  • Wausau Meeting Room (2nd floor) -- Max. 20 people.

  • Mosinee Meeting Room -- Max. 99 people. Includes a coffee-maker and sink.

  • Stratford Meeting Room -- Max. 30 adults (or 50 children). Includes a refrigerator, microwave and sink.

Equipment requests must be made at the time of application and may include laptops, video projectors, TV / DVD sets, whiteboards or a podium. Other equipment may be obtained upon request. All requests are subject to availability.

Study Rooms

The study rooms at MCPL Wausau may be used on a walk-in basis. Walk-in usage may be limited to two hours if others are waiting to use a room. The second floor rooms are available for reservation up to seven days in advance by contacting the Reference Desk online or at 715-261-7230. All rooms have wireless internet, chairs and tables.

  • Group Study Room #1 (2nd floor) -- Max. six people.
  • Group Study Room #2 (2nd floor) -- Max. 10 people.
  • Study Room (1st floor) -- Walk-ins only; no reservations. Max. 12 people.
