Things to Remember:

The Meeting Room Application must be submitted at least seven days before the event.

Publicity must say the Library is not a sponsor of the event.

Be aware of the Library's hours and holiday closings.

Selling admission, products, or services is not permitted.

A group may not have more than six upcoming meetings.

Room setup and cleanup is your responsibility. Please plan ahead.

There is a two-hour limit in the Library's main lot. Please park in one of the nearby ramps.

If you decide to cancel your meeting, please contact us.

Library Meeting Rooms may be requested by returning a completed and signed Meeting Room Application to the library's Wausau Headquarters via fax: 715-261-7204, email: , regular mail, or in person. All rooms have wireless internet access, chairs, and tables.

  • Wausau Room (3rd Floor) -- Max. capacity 99 people (10 minimum), sink, small refrigerator, coffee-maker, projection screen (projector must be requested).
  • Wausau Conference Room (1st Floor) -- Maximum capacity of 12 people.
  • Mosinee Meeting Room -- Maximum capacity of 99 people, coffee-maker, sink.
  • Stratford Meeting Room -- Maximum capacity of 30 adults (or 50 children), refrigerator, microwave, sink.

Equipment Requests must be made at the same time as your Meeting Room Application, and may include a Laptop, LCD Projector, TV/DVD, White-Board, or Podium. Other equipment may be obtained upon request. All requests are subject to availability.


Study Groups of up to six people may use the Wausau Conference Room on a walk-in basis by signing a waiver at the Main Desk. If others are waiting, this will be limited to two hours of use.


Other Meeting Rooms are located in the same buildings as some of our branch libraries, and may be requested by contacting the appropriate villiage office.
