March is Youth Art Month, and the Wausau library is once again lucky to be the location for the Art Cluster exhibition, a display of projects created in special art sessions by the gifted and talented 4th and 5th graders in the Wausau School District. Our the Children's Library in Wausau has been transformed into a dazzling array of color and pattern.
The 5th graders studied form and line before creating fantastic metal sculptures, like the moose pictured here, out of colored wire and a variety of other materials.
The 4th graders learned to use repeated patterns in their beautiful acrylic-on-canvas paintings of butterflies.
Everyone is welcome to come to the Children's Library and see the wonderful work of the very talented students in our community. The artwork will be on display until the last week of March.
