What are some of your main job responsibilities?
Working the main circulation desk, working as a passport agent, and working on snags (missing and damaged items). Main Desk, Passport Agent, Snags (Missing & Damaged Items)
Describe yourself in three words.
Humorous, sassy and honest.
What book(s) are you currently reading?
I like anything by James Patterson Right now I’m reading his Numbers Series.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Helping the public in various ways.
What motto or philosophy do you live by?
“Take the world by the butt and live.”
What are some of your pet peeves?
When people come up to the desk while on the phone and they don’t hang up, even when you’re helping them.
What’s the best advice anyone has given you?
Live life to the fullest and enjoy it.
What food item(s) you absolutely cannot resist?
Breads and cheeses.
How do you think MCPL will continue to transform in the future?
Are print books in the future or will everything be on a tablet? Will we be a hands-on training library that teaches people how to use all the various electronics in the world? I just do not know, but it will be interesting to see what happens in the future.
