The Marathon County Public Library in Wausau Wisconsin is 100 Years old on April 3rd, 2007. Come to the birthday party and celebrate with us on April 15, 1:30–4:00 at 300 N. First Street in Wausau.
We have heard childhood memories of people dancing up the stairs to the 1916 building (pictured above). Others have told us how much they enjoyed the fish pond that graced the library’s grounds.
We want to hear your memories of the Wausau location or any of of the branch libraries or bookmobiles that are an important part of the history and future of the Marathon County Public Library. Please share your memories by clicking on Comments below.
