In light of the recent news that the Wisconsin State Supreme Court has overturned Governor Evers' "Safer at Home" order, the library is gathering information and resources to determine our next steps.

Thank you for your support during these unusual times!
In the meantime, we are still happy to provide a variety of services during our COVID-19 (coronavirus) closure, including the following:
- Patrons may contact us for research services, technology assistance, reading suggestions and more. Staff will be available Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.–5 p.m., via email, phone or live chat.
Wireless internet (Wi-Fi) will remain available 24/7 from outside of MCPL's branches in Athens, Edgar, Hatley, Marathon City, Mosinee, Rothschild, Spencer and Stratford. The Wi-Fi outside of MCPL Wausau will remain available Mon.–Thu., 9 a.m.–8 p.m., and Fri.–Sat., 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Wisconsin's Digital Library (WDL) remains operational and available for all patrons for free e-book and audiobook downloads.
Online Resources remain available for all patrons.
Special "COVID-ready" library events have been scheduled, both for during the library's closure and to enable social distancing once the library re-opens.
Curbside pickup is available for the duration of the closure.
