Yes, MCPL patrons will still be able to request materials outside of the South Central Library System (SCLS) through interlibrary loan, including items from Wisconsin Valley Library Service (WVLS) member libraries.
In fact, one benefit of joining SCLS would be receiving an item from the Madison Public Library, for example, in a matter of days, whereas the same item currently takes 2–6 weeks to arrive at MCPL.
