Staff Review: "The City Baker's Guide to Country Living"
In this cozy new novel we meet Livvy, who left her high pressure pastry chef job literally in flames. With no money and no job, Livvy escapes to rural Vermont, where her best friend sets Livvy up with a baking job at a quaint inn. Complete with loveable characters, a gigantic dog, and delicious descriptions of decadent desserts, this was a cozy read that was easy to sink into. It's a great summer read about a woman's journey to find herself and where she belongs, with characters you just can't help but root for. I recommend this and am looking forward to other novels by this author!check it out more reviews
