Staff Review: "The Sun Down Motel " by Simone St. James

35 years ago, Carly's aunt disappeared in the mysterious town of Fell. Knowing nothing about her, because her mother refused to talk about her, Carly finds herself heading to Fell shortly after her mother's death to finally try and put the pieces together surrounding her aunt's disappearance. When she sees a "help wanted" sign in the window of the Sun Down Motel, the last place her aunt was seen, Carly applies, planning on staying only a few days to see what she can find out. Working the night shift just as her aunt worked 35 years ago, Carly soon realizes there's more to her aunt's disappearance than she could have ever realized, and more to the motel that she ever could have imagined.

Just as I have with this author's other novels, I was hooked from the very first chapter! This super atmospheric, slightly creepy novel had so many twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat, all culminating in the really satisfying ending! Highly recommend!
