Central Wisconsin Book Festival
Nature's Best Hope With Douglas Tallamy

Adults

In partnership with the Master Gardener Program of Marathon County, the Central Wisconsin Book Festival welcomes author Douglas W. Tallamy for a virtual discussion of his book "Nature's Best Hope" and his vision for a grassroots approach to conservation!

What is nature's best hope? Slight spoiler: It may be you and your yard! Through his book, Tallamy shows how homeowners can easily and effectively turn their yards into conservation corridors that provide wildlife habitat, unaffected by the whims of government policy! He'll share some of that information and field some audience questions as well.

This event is free and open to the public. Information on how to view this event coming soon!

Support for the 2020 Central Wisconsin Book Festival was provided through the Community Arts Grant Program of the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, with funds provided by the Wisconsin Arts Board, a state agency; the Community Foundation; and the B.A. & Esther Greenheck Foundation.
Support also provided by the Murco Foundation Fund, the Marathon County Public Library Foundation, the Friends of the Marathon County Public Library, Wisconsin Public Radio and the Master Gardener Program of Marathon County.
