Birdwatching in Wisconsin With Charles Hagner
Join us for a fun multimedia presentation on spotting birds in Wisconsin by one of our state's foremost avian experts, Charles Hagner!
Charles is author of the "American Birding Association Field Guide to Birds of Wisconsin," and currently the director of Bird City Wisconsin. In this photo-filled presentation, Charles will lay out the factors that make Wisconsin one of the best states in the country for birdwatching, including its location on the continent, a multitude of lakes, rivers, and varied landscapes, a welcoming culture and proud conservation history, and four full seasons.
He'll also outline the best ways anyone can learn to identify birds, reveal signs and clues that experienced birdwatchers rely on when identifying birds, and explain why birdwatching in Wisconsin can be enjoyed all year round, even in winter!
This virtual event is free and open to the public, and great for birders (or aspiring bird watchers) of all ages! Information on how to view this event coming soon! Call 715-261-7230 for more information.
