"The Great Alone"
Please join the Stratford Branch Library for an ongoing, online virtual book club discussion each month. In January, we are going to be discussing the book "The Great Alone" by Kristin Hannah.
Each week in January, we will be providing questions and discussion prompts in a private Goodreads Stratford Branch Book Club group as you progress through the book. As a group member, you can participate from your own home (at a date/time that is convenient for you) by reading and responding to questions from the library's moderators and comments from fellow book club members. Please contact the branch for more information and details on how to get signed up.
About The Great Alone: In this unforgettable portrait of human frailty and resilience, author Kristin Hannah reveals the indomitable character of the modern American pioneer and the spirit of a vanishing Alaska―a place of incomparable beauty and danger. The Great Alone is a daring, beautiful, stay-up-all-night story about love and loss, the fight for survival, and the wildness that lives in both man and nature.
New participants are always welcome, and you definitely don't need to be a Stratford resident!
