Mistakes That Led Victoria Houston to a Life of Mystery Writing

Sat., 9/30/17, 1pm - 2:30pm @ MCPL Wausau
If you love to read mysteries, chances are you've come across or read some of Victoria Houston's novels. Join us to hear how it became her life's work!

Houston is the author of the Loon Lake series of mysteries, which is now up to 17 titles, including "Dead Spider" published May 2017. She's also written six non-fiction books, and worked as a writer and in public relations in other parts of the country.

In her talk during the Central Wisconsin Book Festival, Houston will share the often-humorous tale of three major mistakes she made in life that forced her to write fishing mystery novels. A Q&A will follow her talk. If you're an aspiring writer, or a fan of Houston's work, you won't want to miss this inside look at her career!
