Preschool Story Time
Children This 30-minute program will help prepare your preschooler for kindergarten with stories, songs, rhymes and other early literacy activities.

LENA Start Marathon County
Adults Registration Improve your verbal interactions with your child through a talk pedometer and parent education classes! Registration required.

Play and Learn
Children Children of all ages are invited to use their imagination and creativity! These fun-filled, 60-90 minute programs feature a different story each week, followed by songs and supplemental activities. Offered in partnership with the Family Resource Center.

Family Story Time
Children Bring your entire family to story time! Children of all ages and parents/guardians are welcome to this 30-minute program.

Book Babies
Children Join us for 20 minutes of "lap sit" story time for children birth to 23 months! Listen and interact with your baby through books, songs, rhymes and other activities. Caregiver-child interaction is stressed in Book Babies, so children must be accompanied by an adult.

Basics of the iPhone and iPad
Adults Registration Do you have an Apple iPhone or iPad, or thinking about buying one, and want to learn more about how they work? We want to help!

Tales for Tots
Children Enjoy books, songs and fingerplays with your toddler at this fun and lively story time! We have two half-hour sessions at 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. - stop by for either one!

Adults Join us for a free screening of the 2018 film exploring the life of NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong, and bring your popcorn!
"O Pioneers!"
Adults Drop-in Take part in a lively discussion of some of history's greatest works of literature, including Cather's prototype feminist novel!

Art Cluster Reception
Kids & Adults Drop-in Parents and other family members are invited to view and celebrate their child's artwork which was created as part of Wausau School District's Art Cluster program.

TAG - Teen Advisory Group!
Teens Drop-in Teens are welcome to meet others, volunteer and help plan library programs through our Teen Advisory Group (TAG). Meetings monthly

Needle Arts at the Library
Adults Drop-in Knitters and crocheters are invited to gather for a night of crafts and socializing! Free and open to the public, and participants are asked to bring their own supplies.

Pokemon Club
Children Join fellow Pokemon fans for a monthly gathering of all things Pokemon, including new activities each month and the opportunity to play the Pokemon trading card game!

Adults Registration The word "Google" is synonymous with searching the internet ("Just Google it"), but join us to learn about some of the other resources the company offers.

Rescheduled: Grow Your Own Microgreens
Adults Join us to learn about microgreens and how to grow them during these cold winter months! Plus, we'll have extra time for general questions about lawns, trees and gardens. This program was originally scheduled in January.
